About Me

Betsy Stuart Valentine
Betsy Stuart Valentine is a Marketing and Events Consultant, and a Floral Designer. After arranging flowers as a hobby and creative outlet since she was a teen-ager, Betsy decided to fully pursue her life-long passion and develop her skills. She has studied at the Washington National Cathedral, with Ariella Chezar at Flower School New York, at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and under other notable floral designers. Her recent floral design projects include a cocktail reception at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, a dinner honoring Justice Sandra Day O’Conner at the Metropolitan Club in Washington, and numerous weddings and other special events. Betsy is a member of the Flower Guilds of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg and the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. She enjoys leading workshops and giving presentations on the art of floral design, and has recently launched a series of monthly flower arranging workshops in Fredericksburg. She is active in historic preservation and lives in Fredericksburg, VA.
